Does Collagen Work?

Does collagen work? That’s what I wondered. From personal experience, I learned that collagen is the beauty staple you need in your life.

Collagen is a protein that our bodies naturally produce, that is, until we turn 20. At 20 years old our natural collagen production slows, which causes our skin to lose its youthful glow and our hair to begin feeling brittle. Now, I don’t know about you, but I prefer my skin to be supple and my hair feeling luxurious.

So how do you reverse these terrible symptoms of aging? I heard of collagen supplements like pills and collagen peptides powder. And I like many people asked “Do collagen supplements work?” I quickly learned that many collagen supplements and powders contain unnecessary additives and come in a pill form. For me I abhor taking pills. Lucky for me I learned about Harmony Proteins™ beauty collagen drink mixes. They changed the game!

One night while strolling the aisles of Walmart aimlessly shopping for groceries, I stumbled upon Harmony Proteins™ Collagen Water drink mixes. I was definitely intrigued. There were 3 flavors to choose from: watermelon, blackberry, and green apple. (To see all of Harmony Proteins™ collagen products go here) .I decided I had to try these. Being a vegetarian, and having just turned 20, I was desperate for some extra collagen. I also appreciated the clean ingredients, no sugar added, no artifical colors. So I picked up a box of blackberry and watermelon, and decided to give it a go.

I simply added the Harmony Proteins™ packet into a 16 ounce bottle of water, gave it a quick shake, then drank it. And by the way– Yum!

Let me tell you, I love these. After a few days of trying out the Harmony Proteins™ collagen water, I was hooked. My skin was clearer than it had been in a long time, and my hair and nails felt strong again. After seeing these amazing results, I knew Harmony Proteins™ collagen water would be the newest staple in my beauty routine.

So yes, collagen powders & supplements DO work. I can’t wait to try out Harmony Proteins™’ newest collagen drink mix flavors which include a probiotic, a natural green-tea based energy water, and a honey-lavender sleep aid. Enjoy!
